JOY HARRISON MSc, RGN
ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER
Our nursing team is led by Joy, who is not only an advanced nurse practitioner but also a prescriber. She has a specialist interest in diabetes and mental health, including dementia.
TANYA HOLBEN, RGN
Tanya is our lead nurse for respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD. She also carries out the majority of the childhood immunisations. Tanya is also able to prescribe.
FIONA WALLINGTON, BSc RGN
Fiona is the lead for women's health and fits both coils and contraceptive implants. She will be taking the lead for diabetic care in 2018.
Jan provides a wide range of tasks including ear syringing, wound care, smoking cessation. Jan is current undergoing her nurse training, so will not always be available at the practice.
LISA SOTHERON - HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT
Lisa is our expert blood taker and has now completed her healthcare assistant training. During the mornings, Lisa will be mainly taking bloods, but during the afternoon will take ECGs, complete new patient and NHS health checks and other tasks.
Our dispensary team can help you with queries with your medication and will do their best to prepare your repeat and acute medication if you are a registered dispensing patient.
STEPHANIE DURRANT, MCIPD
Stephanie is responsible for the general administration of the practice and will help you with any problems or complaints you may have.
Pauline Wilson is our secretary and is responsible for the production of all the surgery's letters, reports and referrals. She works Tuesday to Fridays.
We have a brilliant team of receptionists and administrators, who are trained to help you get the best from the surgery. They are friendly and competent, but sometimes their job can be difficult. If they ask you for further information, please do not think that they are being nosy or obstructive. The more information you are able to give them, the more they will be able to help you.
