Ardleigh Surgery update

Here at the surgery we are following guidance and slowly taking steps to introduce more services while keeping our staff and patients safe.

To make sure we are protecting our patients and staff, we are asking all our patients to wear a face covering when attending the surgery. We ask that you wear a face covering if you are attending for an appointment or any other reason, this applies at both Ardleigh and Dedham

If you feel you need to see a Doctor please call the surgery and you will be added to the Doctors telephone list. The receptionist will ask the reason for your call, this is on instruction from the Doctor so they can assess the urgency of your call. The Doctor will then call you back to discuss your problem, if following that discussion it is felt you need a face to face appointment the Doctor will book this for you.

You can continue to book appointments with the Nurses and HCA, please call the surgery to book. We do ask that you inform the receptionist the reason for your appointment so that you can be given an appointment with the most appropriate person

Prescription ordering telephone line
As from 31st July we will no longer be taking medication requests via the telephone.
You will need to order your medication using one of the following methods:
Online via patient access – Please ask at reception about registering for this service
Via email – ardleighsurgery@nhs.net
By hand – Using the right hand side of your prescription form tick the items you need, or write your name and date of birth on a piece of paper with the items you need. Hand in at the surgery or send Royal mail
This does not affect the issuing or collection of your medication and prescriptions

Dispensary opening times
As from 6th July, the Dispensary at Ardleigh will be open for collection of prescriptions and medication between 10am – 12pm and 3pm and 6pm. In line with patient requests we have extended the evening opening hours.
